MÜHLDORF / INN
CONCENTRATION CAMP CEMETERY

The cemetery is located across the main Christian cemetery on the Ahamer-Strasse in Mühldorf and is surrounded by a high protective hedge. An inscription embedded on the central ground entrance path honors all victims of the tyranny of the Nazi Regime that reigned in Germany from 1933 to 1945.

On the lawns along both sides of the path are symbolic gravestones. Some bear the Star of David while others bear the Christian cross. A plaque memorializes the cemetery as the final resting place of the 480 victims who died from the inhumane working conditions in the subcamps of the Dachau concentration camp network in Mühldorf from 1944–1945.
